Very nice Tufftrax frame with forks, BB & headset (worked fine on the bike). Couple of bits of cable rub but overall pretty darn good nick for its age in my opinion.
1 1/8 threadless so easy to put sus forks on. Includes push seatpost, ritchey stem and unbranded handlebar.
I know I haven't...
Have a pair of wheels which came off an old Trek which has only been ridden once or twice - they are pretty much as new and the rims totally unworn. Not needed because I have disc wheels to go on.
Bontrager rims & tyres, rear hub is Shimano, front unbranded, SRAM 8speed cassette & shimano...
Cheer all. Turned out one side is a dummy leg which explains why it wouldn't come off  Other side I got out with grips.
TBH I shouldn't have bothered- all there literally is inside is a spring in one leg (which is industrial strength so doesn't really do anything). Heap of poo.
Tried a 6-pointed socket but I can feel the edges of the cap rounding, also soaked in WD40/GT85.
Is there a trick I'm missing?
The forks have barely been used but are 10 years old and have never been taken apart (RS Judy's)
Cheers!
