25.6 mm seat posts? That's a size you don't come across often.. What frames take such a post?

Unfortunately this bike is not eligible for this month's BoTM, but a competition focusing on retro bikes with bar ends isn't complete without fluoro bar ends, IMHO 8)

Which forks are you referring to in your third sentence? The black forks seem to have a crown race that does not match the CK headset, while the CK crown race on the suspension forks has seen better days..

They're not as common as their 1 1/8" counterparts, but still around. Are you looking for threaded forks, or ahead? Rigid forks, or suspension?

I obtained them when I picked a rattle can-sprayed Batavus Hunter. They were in a small jar and handed to me with the notion 'This is broken'. Even though the Batavus frame has rear U-brake mounts, it was not the frame it was originally meant to go on, I presume. No more information than that...

Beautiful bike and a worthy frame for that exquisite U brake 8): great to see it fully functional again..! Hats off to U!
