Wanted Project two approx 425mm A-C long steerer

Same here. I need a specific Kona dropout, and (stupidly) didn't order it a few weeks ago, when the shop was still online. I hope the shop returns in some form, and also that the old stock and spares that they held (as the UK distributor) is made available again through whoever is...

Wanted Project two approx 425mm A-C long steerer

Out of interest: What bikes used a 440 mm Project Two? (it doesn't help that Kona named numerous different forks all "P2" for decades ) I have a 29er P2 (original to the bike, and in use - sorry) and that's only 435 mm (axle to crown).

This guy takes no hostages-M900 NOS/NIB craze

The advert states that only some components are NOS (unused). The same seller is also advertising a pair of M900 hubs. And a seapost with XTR "sticker" (but which he clearly states is some unknown brand, and is not claiming that it's genuine Shimano/XTR).

    Kona A'ha Stars & Bars 1997

Regardless of Kona's catalogue info: There are some A'has smaller than 18-inch (presumably they're 16-inch?). Easy to identify from pictures because the lower end of the KONA logo decals (K on the drive side; A on the non-drive side) overlaps the white scallop or "bars" sticker that occupies...

Bike shows (including the "handmade" type) still happen. Bespoked 2023 is in Dresden this weekend; I'll be there.

Too many choices.. Dia compe brake levers ss6

For some extra-nerdy viewing: Just last week, Blue Lug bike shop (Tokyo) posted an entire video about the various Dia Compe levers. (auto-translated subtitles available in the settings).

Bit of fun - How long as a percentage of your life have you owned your bike?

    1994 Saracen Kili (bought new): 52% 1995 Kona Humu (ex-display; bought 1997?): 46%

BoTM BoTM May 2022 nominations - Kona Special, dedicated to the memory of @pipmeister

Haha! 😁 By "ignore the background Humu", I meant that it shouldn't be considered as a second "stealth entry" for this month. Thank you to everyone who's [liked] my A'ha post.

BoTM BoTM May 2022 nominations - Kona Special, dedicated to the memory of @pipmeister

What a great idea. And there are some beautiful bikes posted already. My bikes wouldn't usually make the grade for BOTM. But I'd like to contribute to this month in Pip's memory. So here goes, with something a bit weirder than the previous entries: DM's 1997 Kona A'ha Cruiser. I'm not in the...

    1995 Kona Humuhumu-Nukunuku-A-Pua'a

Humus are fantastic (and under-rated) bikes. I have: The same 1995 Humu (love the looptail rear end, the slack seat-tube angle, and the low bottom bracket); A 1997 A'ha (with curved toptube and the stars & bars paint); A 29er Humu (made for two years, in 2015 & 2016). And I previously had...
