Outstanding spot, predki! The remnants of the markings on the BB on my frame look very much like the W there. I don't suppose you know what the number next to the W is? It's too bleached out for me to see... And any idea of the name of the marque enthusiast? Many thanks for this great lead!

To match a rear I've been hoarding and finally ready to build up. 32 hole, any condition so long as it's not actually damaged.

I've always wanted to try out a top Italian (or perhaps Italian style -- something like a Merckx would be interesting) racer, so this is my next project. I am 6' 6" so I need at least a 25 inch/64 cm frame. 70s frameset preferred. Any condition so long as the steel is straight, sound and undamaged.

I guess these spokes won't pass through a normal round spoke hole, right? You need a hub with slotted holes?

I've had several steel frames poweder-coated by Armourtex and they do a very good job. They get a lot of steel frames and if there were issues with their processes, I think they would have come to light by now. Enamelling gives a deeper, more velvety finish, but it is a lot more expensive...
