    Bike couriers

Are they any about that collect eBay items? Had my eye on a BMX that the buyer refuses to post ( can't say I blame him ). Annoying thing is he relisted it becouse no one wants it, Not a great bike but I had an identical one and they don't come up too often. I know there's Shipley etc but...

    Orange P7 serial

Just got this bike off eBay , Seller owned it 10+ years and said it was a 96 however after much searching I think it's a 98? The serial start MT710 (Oct 97?) rather than the usual AO but I did see a mention of this being normal for 98 on bikes as well as the seat post gap being put on the front...

    26" rim brake wheel options

Just acquired a early Inbred frame which I was going to add a disc brake mount but I'm thinking I might just keep it V Brake and retro. Are they any decent budget ( under £100 ) wheel sets still available that will cope with xc riding or should I be looking used?

    Marin Shoreline Trail

Cheers, Just had a look at your thread have not seen any swingarms for sale but the frames do go cheaply with modern swingarms on ebay from time to time :) if i spot anything i will let you know.

    Marin Shoreline Trail

I rebuilt it with modern stuff off my rigid bike (bar the forks they were spare), I'm torn at the moment because i really like the rigid too but i might build that up as a hack and use the Marin as my main bike would be nice to get a decent rear shock on there.

    Marin Shoreline Trail

Quick Update, Took it for a ride on a local loop last night was not expecting much TBH but was pleasantly surprised the thing rides great once you get used to grip shift! On the road and climbing the rear suspension felt o.k despite it being a cheaper model coil and downhill it felt pretty...

    Marin Shoreline Trail

Just picked this up this today, I know its not the greatest spec bike out there but was cheap and i quite like it totally original even the tyres bike has not done much :) Only problems are some fading to the paintwork and a few odd marks on the frame which i think is oxerdisation of some sort...

The one and only "HOW MUCH IS MY xyz WORTH" thread

Work mate has just told me he has a mtb he wants to sell an off road one he has only ever used on the road since buying new i expected it to be a cheapo but here it is, Shoreline trail not sure on spec but its standard and i noticed SRAM X5 rear mech with gripshift X4 shifters and ritchey...

Plan was to use the frame and swap a few hybrid bits over to, Forgot the 700c wheels i have will be different hub spacing though so will hold onto it, Im sure it will come in use for something later.
