WANTED: 18" Mountain Bike to last!

No, no trolley! It's not heavy except on Friday and Saturday. The usual rate is £15 per week (Mon - Sat) but I get £19 as I do two rounds on Saturday. So I actually had enough money to buy the bike outright and only three weeks and I have a bike and am no worse off for it! Daniel

WANTED: 18" Mountain Bike to last!

Hi, I didn't buy the Kona in the end as he got a better offer on it and I found a more suitable bike. So I bought a Falcon Stealth (older MTB not the modern cheap versions) which is the correct size, completely rigid, and was only £45 so it doesn't matter too much if it's damaged or stolen...

WANTED: 18" Mountain Bike to last!

Re: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=304514 There is this! Started at £200 but open to offers and seems desperate to sell. So I could offer £150 and that includes slick tyres and spare brake blocks. Looks in fairly good nick. Would this be OK? Thanks Daniel

WANTED: 18" Mountain Bike to last!

Re: Hi, Thanks for that. I think it is a good idea to get something cheaper but it's just a case of finding something. I need something reliable that isn't likely to have tons of problems. An older rigid mtb from a good brand is exactly what I am after. So the budget is now lowered to around...

WANTED: 18" Mountain Bike to last!

Hi, I'm Daniel, a 14 year old boy who has a paper round and needs a bike for it!! I have a bike at the moment that I got cheap from Sports Direct, which as I later found out was a huge mistake. From day one it started to fall to bits and after having to replace several parts and last week the...
