arent all bikes made in taiwan now anyway.... :P no-one seems to know anything about these bikes so you could be wrong or you could be right the welds, the light weight and original componentry suggest it wasnt bottom feeder domain...plus its still going strong two of us on here like...

i wont ever get rid of this bike..love it cant understand why it's so rare and unheard of?? anyway the original rock shox are surplus to requirement if anyone is interested and where do i get fork seals for marzocchi bomber forks...want to give them a service.. cheers

couple of pics now its been updated with marzocchi bomber disc forks and quickfire type gear levers

i still have mine also but was getting really frustrated at the front brake so replaced the front rock shox fork with a marzocchi disc fork with 1 inch steerer. the fork is black and a little bit longer than original fork so changes the look of the bike a tad but im waiting for a shimano disc...

i have a 14/24 maillard on the bike want the 13 cog to 24/28 for a bit more go or just to settle my curiosity for a bit more all round performance.... :wink: don't think i can get 13/24 or 13/28 new as far as i can tell but have seen those ratios used or nos...

i forgot to say...non indexed for friction shifters...ta

cheers velo...ah, the kingpin..reputedly the cream of the crop. that is a push 400mm mtb stem in there and at a gnats cock under 6 ft i am having the stem on the limit marker

yeah i think AS has been linked to high starch diets... or at least if sufferes cut down on starches then they may get some pain relief... look it up on the net
