It was the bike of a friend of a friend, not in my possession. I should have taken a photo. I was partly interested to see if MTBers are as nostalgic as roadies. It would not qualify as an MTB in many peoples eyes as things stand now.
As the title says, in reasonable condition for a period bike refurb. I had a Claud Butler Majestic in the early eighties and am thinking that the type of gear on that would do the trick for my project.
I need a 170 left hand crank for a mongoose triple MTB. The tricky bit is that when the crank is held at 12 oclock position the square taper hole must appear as a diamond. All good quality cranks would appear to set the hole as a square, only the cheapest of the cheap appear to do otherwise...

I am looking for ahead stems 110mm for either 1" or 1 1/8" steerer. Standard not oversize clamp size. Essential is that they have some rise from horizontal.
