the axel measures 122mm does that sound right ? what do those numbers mean on it ?

do i simply measure the axel once i have managed to get it all apart ? I assume so but I have never gone this far into fixing a bike before.
As for the crank set.. it's got what it came with. It looks just like the one in your picture spudly. I wasnr planning...

its been a while .. the kids are finally old enough to not need lifts on my bike so i have started 'fixing' (breaking) it up.
If i can manage to get bottom bracket off I will replace it for a new non-crunchy, non-wobbly one.
Can anybody help me with the spec of what i should buy to...

So I haven't given up yet .. I fixed the stem with a part I bought on ebay and even serviced the gears .. it all running fine.
I have a couple of questions if anybody can help me out.
When I replaced the bolt in the stem I raised it up a bit .. its much more...
i have the same bike.. i am going to try to fix it up nut i havent got much of a clue.
do you know what the spacing between the rear drop outs is .. i think i need to get new whells... they druch like mad .. and are not the originals anyway .. so if you are able to tell me what size wheels...

ahhh the tape measure is in the sewing box in the bedroom bedroom .. and they are all a sleep. will br tomorrow till i can measure anythimg unless this is something i can find out online
