I think it's pretty good . I was thinking of doing it to mine but was put off by the cost of the whole project - wheels , brakes , fork on top of the framework . I'd rather put the cash into a (more...) modern bike . If i had it , of course .
Definitely B18 - I'm only 5'8" and ride 16 or 18 Konas . It's a little taller than my 16" Cindercone but very close in length (i should take a tape measure to them....) . 19 would be like riding a farm gate for my little legs 😃

Yes it was ! I just wish i had done it in the spring so i could have ridden it a bit more ; now it's all shiny and clean I'm loathe to get it muddy - that's what my Cindercone is for - and the trails round here will be like the Somme until spring . Still , i can look at it everyday ....🤗

The XTRs were seized up - i never maintained them and they went through 7 winters ....maybe they are retrievable but i can't be bothered . I was going to put them on the bay of evil with a 99p start but I'm open...
