    Re: I have not long sold a 1937 MacLean and looks the same. Brampton Lugs. Serial number was N40 on the right side of the seat lug.

    Any number on the seat clamp area? Looks 30s possibly. Will it only take 26" wheels?

    Thanks Bagpuss and Keith. I'm sure Reynolds were stamped or name in the mold. The girder stems certainly and on the main tube. Yes certainly nothing new in cycling. Looks to well made to be anything like a Philips or Triumph.

    Thanks Bagpuss. Lovely looking stem you have. Yes clip type stem but just can't find anything like it. Remember seeing somewhere a longer reach stem but can't think where or what it was on. Reynolds was my first guess but looked at catalogues, Browns and others and no luck.
