    Nice example you have there FMJ. Isn't the 135 degree noodle specifically for the front VBrake (90 degree for the rear)? Have you used the 135 on the rear, it does look as though it does the job?

    Thanks cce. Yes I've thought about bringing out the hacksaw. The local bike shop seems to think that there are shorter rear v-brake noodles available, as an alternative to the standard 90 degree...I certainly can't find any online.

    I'm looking for some advice for the best length/degree of V Brake noodle for my 96 GT Zaskar and where I could buy one from. The standard 90 degree shimano one seems to extend too far and the heel can catch it while pedaling, plus the length and angle doesn't make for a crisp braking action...
