    NOS Steel Chainrings

New STEEL 110 BCD chainrings needed for my trusty MTB and Jamis RB again. Rather than start a new thread, I thought I'd bump my old one :) Colin

How to Flip a worn Cog

First a self-correction; I wrote the above after experimenting with a Shimano 7 speed cassette, which does have three pins/rivets to hold the main cluster of cogs together. When I came to repeat the process on the live Sram 7 speed cassette, I discovered it has two pins and one minute 1mm...

I change chains when they stretch 1/8" to 1/4" and I'm loathe to buy another new cassette, so I'm wondering if I can flip the worn cogs. Maybe I can get another few month's pedaling out of this...

    keithb sales feedback

Keith gifted me a pair of pedals, carefully tissue-wrapped, in a clearly labelled Jiffy bag, posted to me in Asia, where they arrived at my post box in only 16 days... on my birthday! Such kindness is not of this world, and never goes unnoticed... where it counts. Ta Mate! Colin
