Any half decent machine shop should be able to make you one for a few quid, it's literally an alloy tube with a bit of thread on it etc. I know a guy up in Kirkbymoorside who can sort you out if you need.

That's not a 97, decals are the wrong colour? The one I had back then had orange rather than yellow. I bought it Jan 1998, discounted from the previous year, almost certain it was 1997?

Just wanted to jump on here and say I did end up buying a Geometron, and I agree with the above, such an amazing frame. Mine came in at just under 36lb, with big tyres and without any superlight parts. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!
