Sorry to drag up an old thread. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to replace the bearings on a clark kent pineapple hub. I think I have about 30,000 kms on my ever since I had it laced up on an Open Pro Rim for my road bike. I'm starting to get play in the hub even with the cones...

Exactly... Why not? A crankset is a crankset. The spacing between the chains is the same regardless of the rest of the drive train.
