Thanks. I know I'm asking for a lot but I'd like to have one in as near to perfect condition as possible.
I've actually fitted a KCNC Bone now which is approx 120g so 10g lighter so at least I'm able to continue riding my Pace
Thanks. Purple wouldn't really go with the blue anodised frame.
I've actually fitted a KCNC Bone now which is approx 120g so 10g lighter (I still ride my Pace regularly) than the Renthal bar but I'm still looking for a Renthal because I'd like to keep my Pace as close to its original spec as...
I have a Pace RC200 F6 MTB, fitted with Renthal RC+130 (590mm long - anodised pewter finish) handlebars. Unfortunately, the bar has split along the length and so it needs to be replaced.
Has anyone got one they'd like to sell? Or does anyone know where I can get one from? They'd need to be in...
Ooops. My mistake. I missed the American bit  It does have a Chris King Headset though and that's American
Please feel free to remove my post MOD's.
Thanks. I can't believe I've never heard of Sugino
Obviously I'd heard the name, Gary Fisher bikes. That's what drew me to this particular one. But as you say, they were always something of a rarity.
It looked original and I got the impression it had been looked after, used as...
Here's my latest acquisition. Actually, it's not for me, it's for my other half. I don't know much about the bike. It was bought from a local bike recycling centre on a bit of a whim. I'm guessing it's a child bike because the frame size is approx 13" but my other half is small in stature so...
No problem. I appreciate you taking the time to reply. Thanks.
I've used Panracer Darts/Smokes in the past and liked them a lot. I did look at Gravelking's but didn't think the tread pattern would give me enough traction on the type of terrain I normally ride on, especially on climbs.
Up-date. I've now managed quite a few rides on my new tyres and I have to say, I'm really pleased with them. I was quite surprised at how little tread there is on the Racing Ray (front) but there is plenty of grip. The thing I am surprised about is how well they roll. My bike feels twice as...
My friendly local motorcycle dealer gave me some motorbike fork oil for free. They'd used some on a bike service, charged the customer for 1 litre, used approx 400ml. They told me they wouldn't use the rest which meant it was effectively in their way as it was taking up shelf space. After a...
Thanks for your reply. The forks/frame do not have disc mounts. I'm sure someone (maybe Hope) made a bracket for the forks that was retro fit and obviously I know you can change the rear drop-outs (but I'm happy to retain the V Brake set up on the rear). I've spoken to Hope recently about my BB...
I guess this might be a longshot but here goes. I have a Pace RC200 F6 fitted with Pace RC36 Pro Class forks. I've had the bike from new. Disc Brakes were a relatively new innovation when it was built so I stuck with XTR V Brakes. I've always fancied upgrading the front brakes to Disc.
Does...
