The grey one was professionally refinished (powdercoated) in the ownership of another retrobiker with a nice set of 92 decals and is much tidier overall. Again has one or two dings and some light scratches, nothing too horrendous and the worst damage is where I over-tightened the front mech...

1998 model year (if memory serves both frames are stamped with 1997 serial number) Orange Clockwork frames - 2 available, one must go… I’ve been hanging on to both of these for a while, and have enjoyed riding both but with other nice stuff in the stable I don’t need two, they're currently both...

Plus a couple of (suspect) inner tubes thrown in for good measure. These are all worn or damaged to some extent but probably all rideable too. All nice quality MTB tyres, Tioga, Schwalbe, Panaracer etc. At least two of them were sold to me for actual money by another forum member - but not up...

These came to me on two different British Eagles - both quite decent spec, one was 531 and the other an alloy e-stay (EXS) frame. I guess both firms were under Falcon ownership and probably shared suppliers... quite unusual rims these days, and quite nice IMO.

On a PC now... yes I count 36 holes.

You’re not being stupid! If someone is able to count the spokes in the pic that would help - I’m currently on my phone… both rims are the same! Incidentally I did put a suitable front LX hub to one side which would be ideal for making a set - happy to throw it in for another £5. Got a box...
