I kind of wondered this too, I noticed he posted less and less over the years. Maybe he ran out of content, got bored or just moved on to different things in life.
I wonder if they "recycled" the bikes after every season, added bosses, guides etc. Maybe they chanegd logos? Here are two more photos. The drive side dropout is stamped with a "12" Wondering if this meant frame 12 of XX frames or was made for rider #12. I don't have photos of the bottom bracket.
Came across this frame the other day, its branded Colnago but with boule d'or engravings on the fork and seat stays. I can't seem to find a combination of this frame with over the BB cable routing the this later model fork anywhere, including the boule d'or bits, unless it was a special order...
I just picked up a NOS Cilo frame that unfortunetly has the old Shimano proprietary downtube bosses. I've been mucking around with trying to get some Campagnolo and Simplex shifters to mount but have no luck so far. Is there a way to mount these mayne with an adapter kit or something similar? I

I'm trying to ID this Bottecchia frame and get an idea of it's date range and model. It's from an eBay auction that I made a bid on and won. Even if it's a low end model It's ok for my needs as I'm building up my first ground up retro build over the winter. I'd like to restore it to it's...
