just acquired a stumpjumper....not sure of size but has a 22" tom tube (adjusted c-c horizontal).....all original with xt rear derailleur and so forth....parralax hubs, mavic wheel....but the front wheel is some bolt-on (bmx style) abomination....works fine. Asked owner about this and he told...

the dbr is pretty much "unreal" feeling as you'd think it stiff...it is NOT. The steel bits absorb and...
gusset jury forks and kona p2's both have that or near that a-c length (both are sold out here in USA!)...sad
I found a set of spec-ed big tange forks on ebay (canti's only) that are a bit harsh (hard to find a steerer tube over 260mm!)
