    It looks like the one, it is 17" frame with 26" wheels. My daughter is not particularly tall but she reckons it's comfortable to ride.

    As your photo shows it was like a war zone, it was amazing the number who survived the explosion. It wrecked the cottages next to the mill. As I understand it was simply caused by not cleaning the plant thoroughly.

    I used to have a narrowboat and moored at the bottom of Bosley Locks. You could walk along the disused railway from there into the Wood Treatment mill so I knew it quite well.

    I guess you are referring to Bosley Wood Treatment? The mill processed sawdust into wood flour and there was a catastrophic explosion a few years back, several of the workers there were killed. You had to see the devastation the explosion caused to believe it - all from wood flour dust.

    I’m taking it out for a test ride at the weekend - I feel like a kid at Christmas with a new toy! My 10 year old grandson is going with me so I’ll probably struggle to keep up. Anyway thanks again for the replies.

    Thanks for the info, I’ve just been looking at the archive 1997 catalog for the P7 only difference I can see are the front forks but I get the impression that when you were ordering a bike from new you could mix and match various parts
