Hi guys, any idea where i could get a 2 prong freewheel remover that fits Regina? The Suntour one doesn't fit as it happens :(

The freewheel screwed on easily enough, by hand up to the the last turn or two so I was guessing the threading was ok, but maybe not. They are both supposed to be Italian but that's just going off what the vendors stated in their eBay listings. I thought mixing English and Italian was ok though...

I think you can see on this zoom in on the bare hub, the threads don't go all the way up to the ridge of the hub:

Thanks jCymbal, much appreciated. Your non-drive side washer looks much thicker than mine, 2 or 3 mm? A 2mm washer on the drive side should solve it for me I think.

So on the non-drive side there is just the cone, 1mm washer and locknut:

Cheers for the replies guys. No, there's no spacer on there, just the hub body. Doesn't look very different from yours nammonk, so maybe it is seated properly. I tried transferring the 1 mm washer from between the cone and the locknut on the non-drive side (there's no spacers on that side...

So, got the wheels back from the shop, and very nice they look too. However, I've encountered my first real problem :( I screwed on the Regina freewheel, but when the wheel is then installed in the drop outs there isn't enough chain clearance to shift onto the 13 sprocket: So first...

Funny you should mention those tyres. I have a pair of NOS Clements on the way, but I'm getting the LBS to put a set of Vittoria Rally's on when they build the wheels. I'm guessing the old Clements might be a bit fragile due to age, might get a set of riding and a set of display wheels, not sure...

Lovely, what are you going to build it up with?

Thanks for the kind comments guys. I got the decals from Cyclomondo, though I think Argos can source them too if you prefer. Also, new stuff has arrived, NOS Regina Oro 13-21 freewheel: And a NOS Everest Oro slotted chain, cheaper than Regina and looks just as nice to me...
