I recently bought a Cannondale Super V for a rebuild, but i cant identify the Shimano cranks. It says "Hollowtech" on them & theyre grey in colour & stamped FC-M571 around the pedal thread hole. What are they?

Perhaps it was just my local branch. . . in the late 90's. . .

I would imagine that ANY bike that was assembled & "set up" by Halfrauds would have complaints. . . When i had my bike shop, i used to make loads of money where people had bought a bike from Halfrauds & a day or two later i used to charge them £30 to re-assemble & set it up properly . . . :D

Not too bothered about the year of XT brake arms as long as they have the paralellagram mechenism on them. I have a front wheel . . . running a front disc & rear rim brake. Frame is 1996 Giant Box F/S. No disc mounts on the back, so need rim brake. . . XT or Magura would be cool. The front...
