    Dynatech racer

2060 tubeset was a custom version of 531sl designed for the bonded lugs (i.e. shorter "thick ends" on the butted tubes). 2070 was the same only drawn to 753 specifications. you might just be able to see the 2070 sticker on this one... and the traditional side on view

1992 Dynatech (Yes - the one that hasn't snapped yet!)

I know what you mean - last time I went in to get half a dozen spokes for a wheel rebuild, I came out with a pair of Mavic Ksyrium Elites :-)

Ants... if you look closely at the photo right at the top of this thread, there's a little red and gold sticker on the top end of the downtube - guess what it says? Kendell Cycles!! Small world isn't it :D

When do you qualify for being 'IN' with the LBS?

To be honest, I really shouldn't be posting on this thread, as I don't think i've ever NOT been in with my LBS. This strange state of affairs came about because I used to work (as the 'saturday lad') at a different bike shop alongside the bloke who now owns/runs my LBS. When he left the...

    Dyna Tech Ti Roadie

I thought they worked pretty well myself - sort of kept the black and silver motif going  Pity I destroyed them over the winter on my 'crosser

    Dyna Tech Ti Roadie

Nice Dynatech :D I picked up a old Dynatech frame last spring, it's currently built up with modern(ish) kit - mainly because I knocked up around 5k miles on it last year and I don't like trusting my considerable mass to second-hand bars/stems etc :o Front/Rear mechs, Chainset...

    Pace RC100 (XC-pro)

Mmmmm Pace-eyyyy................. Brings back memories... A mate of mine worked for the bloke who did the product photography for Pace's catalogs. I called in one day and a late prototype of the RC100 had just been dropped off (fresh from a test ride...). Spent half a hour cleaning it up and...

1992 Dynatech (Yes - the one that hasn't snapped yet!)

I think the wild and wonderful metalic splatter paintjobs came in a couple of years after mine. The Ti Tubed ones were from 1993 iirc, using a load of plain gauge seam-welded titanium tubes sourced in russia, according to the bloke in my LBS back in the day. Some had 3 main tube's in Ti, but...

1992 Dynatech (Yes - the one that hasn't snapped yet!)

Was just having a look at John Tomac's Raleigh that he rode in 1991 season. Couldn't help but notice one or two examples of 'design trickle-down' to my regular MTB ride, shown below pretty much standard... or as it stands at the moment, fairly sensitively updated and modernised...

    Old School Roadie

Not a builder as such... it was my LBS. It's a bike I bought from a mate in my old cycling club. When I got it, it was a manky blue metalic with rusty chrome stays. It was branded as a Hargreaves (which again is a LBS) but I was assured that it was actually a Woodrup. Good old fashioned...
