im pretty sure mate that you can shim a shimano hollowtech bb down to fit a sram gxp chainset but you cant make the gxp bb bigger to accommodate the shimano axle. they look very similar but work in very different ways, see the sram website for a proper explanation with diagrams. hope this helps...

I now have a spare dmr singlespeed rear hub / mavic 517 rim / white industries 16t freewheel. Smooth hub, straight rim, handbuilt with double butted spokes, lovely ticking white ind freehub with some wear to the teeth but not worn out and you can rebuild these. I can email photos if required...

just 10 speed shimano shifters required now please. Or maybe sram force + rear mech.
