Just bought this for £130 - I thought it was a decent price for the bike. I was looking for a nice pub bike tbh. Someone able to ID the year I think it might be 1999 or early 2000s Let me know your thoughts, good deal ? I'm very happy with it :)

The serial number is actually on the chainstay but it's in awful condition and hard to make out any of the important numbers

My friend paid £10 for this at a car boot and I plan to build this up for him when I get my hands on it

Lovely Hardrock. It's funny as when I bought the frame I almost knew immediately that I'd be pairing it with these tyres. It's hard trying to balance the chrome black and green but I'm happy with it so far hopefully it'll be finished next week

Thanks, appreciate it..the mudguards are curana C Lite 26x60. Super lightweight but super rigid as well. Had to make an awful looking bracket for front one due to the tab not quite reaching to the bolt at that the top of the fork, but the fitment is lovely around the wheels so I'm happy

Probably upset a few purists but this was my first build, one which is almost finished. This was inspired by Stridsland, repurposing this old mtb into my daily commuter and future bikepacking set up. Something that could do most things rather comfortably.

I really would only sell them with the wheels - I need rid of em and don't want the hassle of taking em off then trying to get rid of the rims also. I'd sell you the set of wheels for £20 plus postage

From what I can see from the original cat is they are listed as Marin rockstar (S) buy tbh look more like the standard set - can't be sure
