Re: Raleigh Titanium RSP 550Mountain Bike 18" for sale at £5
Thanks for the cross post from ebay - I thought that it was not allowed to do this other wise I would have included a link.
Many thanks
Looks absolutely awesome - nice job!
Glad you found your "project".
I decided to sell as I just have too many bikes and not enough £££ - will be very sad to see it go though!

I am 5"10
Top of the range, team edition hard tail mountain bike.
Good condition for age (getting on for 20 years). I have owned this...
Yep - it did come through Eddies. They are still there although I think they are finding it a bit tough at the moment. I think it was Martin who sorted it for me.
So guys,
Is this a rare beasty which I need to lavish a bit more love and attention on?
With a strip clean and rebuild it would look pretty much like the picture from the magazine - apart from the one replaced brake - alas!
I could even concourse it to BOTM?
Or is it just another mass...
I know - how tight is that. Got to get the most from your kit of course.
Actually gave up biking for a few years (more fool me) and then when I came back to it I wanted a shiny new bike so my raleigh languished in the garage. Then gifted it to the Mrs and she does not get out that...
Awesome - thankyou.
Only threw the green tyres out 6 months ago
They were a bit perished though!
Mine obviously has a few scratches but You can see from the picture how original it is - even down to the saddle.
US or UK
Hi,
Not sure on the origin to be honest. Funny story behind it as well. I had an mtrax 500 and was riding home from work and the seatpost snapped. This dumped me on the road and tore ligaments in my leg. Off the bike for 6 weeks and bandaged up....
Got in touch with Raleigh and they...
Hi all,
New to the retro bike scene - although at my age and the length of time I have been cycling I shouldn't be :D
Thought I would share some images of my titanium raleigh SP which is circa 1999. I have owned this bike from new and it has seen service in the US and the UK. Last weekend...
