Definitely staying as is! I've got a pair of smooth rolling but tatty Powell hubs I'm tempted to build up to replace the mismatch wheels it's currently rolling on
Here's my CB built Saxon, got the frameset recently as a side-project and built up with bits I had in the stores. Only major bit of work was a rear wheel rebuild. Front brake drop (or lack of) is a slight issue, I've some other brakes on the way to experiment with. Here it is -

As long as the distance between the centre of the BB and the rear axle stays the same through it's travel it's all good!... if you're not running a chain tensioner. I have seen SS dh bikes running a sprung loaded chain tensioner in lieu of a rear mech to cope with adverse effects on...
