So any suggestions how much it's worth?
So I've taken it off the bike and cleaned it up. The steel parts are corroded but the alloy parts are very good. It fits a 35mm frame diameter as it stands.
I have no experience of such exotic parts so really don't know what it's worth. None showing up...
Thanks for that! I will Google it to find out a bit more about it.
I thought it looked like a very nicely crafted piece!
No other exotica I'm afraid, Ritchey wheels and headset, Shimano rear mech and avid brakes.
Sorry if it's really obvious, but I've got a "shed find" and I don't recognise this front mech? Looks almost home made by somebody with access to cnc lathe and time on their hands. Works nicely though!
The frame and forks seem to be 1994 Marin Indian Fire Trail but no other parts are original...
Re: Joe Waugh / Dave Yates frame 531c 20"
I think you may need to have posted a few times before you're allowed to do PMs. I'm not exactly sure the easiest way to contact in that case.
OK, I've pm'd you which may allow you to message me back????
Don't know why I didn't think of that...

It has Shimano 105...
The GSX isn't in that catalogue and I haven't found one with the details you are asking about.
What I can say is the the words direct drive are in several places on the frame and forks. It says "Direct Drive Custom" on the seat tube and Off-Road Cromo and then something beginning with SF but the...
does it have 6-speed freewheel?
Well it's 7 speed but not sure if freewheel or cassette.
I've embarrassed myself as it is 90's not 80's but not sure if I can edit the title.
Any love for this at say £50?
Paintwork isn't great but I think it's done little mileage in it's lifetime. Wheels and most parts are original. 17" frame but it has a long seat post so would probably go from just over 5ft to nearly 6!
It makes a great beater / pub bike in current setup with...
