I have two steel 90s Marin frames I need to part with. The Marin Bear Valley was until recently my do-anything utility-ish bike, and did a great job. The Palisades Trail I've never built up, as had bought just before I saw the Bear Valley and decided to go with that instead. -- Marin Bear...

Despite buying a nice Dawes Quest here (thank you @jimbo-xc !), I've discovered it's no bigger than my current frame :facepalm: , so I'm still looking... and I'm still picky. Anyone?

Thanks for the measurements. Hm, I measured my Marin and it's the same TT, so perhaps I need more reach than 22". Sounds odd though... I wonder if there is something else not right with my setup as 22" or 22.5" should really be enough. If it's ok with you I'll have a think...

Re: Gah, sorry, typo, I meant threadless! I have threaded forks, of course; it was the stem and replacement headset that were the problems (the former solved with a shim, the latter kept in service in the end rather than replacing as new 1 1/4 seemed expensive and rare if I recall).
