Just got my hands on a Pacific Mountain Expert 2 Estay and although it had a bag full of original components attached, the headset is missing bearings. Does anyone have a set of sealed bearings that would fit? Or an idea of what size loose bearings I should get? or does anyone have a 1-1/4...

Not sure I am seeing what you are, but regardless of the hoods, the lever it self is of a more modern shape than the 8 speed kind. That being said, I can't seem to find any others on the net, so you may very well be right :)
