    Scott Octane FX1 (1999) AC9 Rear Shock

No I’m afraid I didn’t. Had hoped someone would have some servicing info or instructions but no. Still I live in hope.

    Scott Octane FX1

It arrived this morning and after a quick clean up (didn’t need much), some springless function tests, and a play around with bushes and spacers, it’s fitted. Feels good and can’t wait to get it out on a trail at the weekend. Again thank you. I’ll be eternally grateful. Ian

That looks perfect for length. I take it the spring rate is 660/750. Is it working or will it need a service? Are you still happy to send this one on a post only basis? If so let me know that cost and how you want the postage sent.

Hi. I think I say no to taking the shock, if that’s ok. With the condition of the hose it’s probable there’s been some loss of fluid. But thanh you for getting back to me, and your kind offer on the shock. I’m now veering towards buying a new 150x35 coil or a 165x35 air shock. While the 150...

Here is a photo of my shock. Yours may not have the second red adjuster (for Rebound) but even if it hasn't (and has just the one adjuster on the piggy back for Compression) it won’t matter. The shocks are the same in eye to eye length and are interchangeable. Letting me have the shock with no...

I’m based in the UK. Are you? If you are, and if your shocks rebound control is working properly, then I would be interested in taking it off your hands. My shock is the one part of the frames I have, which is a bit suspect regarding its dampening and I’ve found it impossible to find anyone to...

How did you get on with building your FX1? I have the same frame which I planning to build so any help from your experience would be really useful. Thanks

I need to service my Scott AC9 rear shock (see photo). Does anyone have any information (servicing instructions or a link to same) to help me dismantle, add fresh damper oil, and reassemble.

MarkS. Not up on modern acronyms. What does "sfs" mean? I've now amended the listing to show a price. Hope that helps.

Musette with a variety of vintage tools

Re: Hi. I meant to say I was looking for offers, as I’ve no idea what this would be worth. Postage would be £4. I’ll try and amend original posting if I can.

Musette with a variety of vintage tools

Vintage Musette and bike tools. Musette is complete with working stud fasteners and strap, but is greasy. May clean up with a wash. The Musette is printed on front with what appears to be “Campione del Mondo” There are 13 tools of various types. Most have surface rust. I really am lost when it...
