    Chris King help please

You can gently tap a Stanley knife blade in between the crown race and the fork to open up a gap to enable you to something more substantial in there. Its not a nice way to do it, but its one way of doing it if you don't have the correct tools

    1998 RockShox SID

Just wondering what these are worth, I've looked around at previous for sale threads and prices vary massively. I need to put them up for sale, but don't want to price them wrongly. These seem to work well, they don't leak air, unfortunately they have been robbed of their titanium brake posts...

Whose using who for UK based anodising?

I'm sorry you've had issues, but as previously mentioned, from my own personal experience, I have no problem recommending him.

Whose using who for UK based anodising?

Really? I've been using Steve for years and never had anything other than great work with a super quick turnaround.

Massive but tastefully specced Caygill tour /rando Shrewsbury

Bad luck there, although easily repairable, hopefully you can find someone local to do the repair, if you can't we could easily turn it around in the same day for you, although you would have to ship the bike to us here in Norfolk. Fingers crossed you can find somebody closer but we are here if...

    Seat post puzzle

I always used an old 2p to put in the slot. There isn’t much cash around these days, not sure if a bitcoin would do the trick?

The shape of things to come....

I’m sure that if you’d have asked for 27.5” they’d have known. I guess they know of it as a new size developed especially for mountain bikes.

    Picked up this Guyzer

Yes, I haven’t tried a wheel and tyre in it yet, so I’m unsure of what size rubber will comfortably fit

    Picked up this Guyzer

Yeah, I’ll have to have a look to see if they are stock from the nemo tube set or if they were shaped by the builder. They look cool, but they neck down where the tyre will be so actually reduce clearance!

    Picked up this Guyzer

I just picked up this Guyzer frame locally. I probably paid too much for it and I’m sure it’s going to be too small for me, but it was too interesting to pass up. Came with a decent condition SID with a nice long steerer but without the shock pump adaptor. It’s a nice little fillet brazed...

The shape of things to come....

I had a similar thing when I went to my local motor factors to buy a new set of points for my 1978 VW Polo. The kid in there had no idea about points, ignition, distributor cap etc. He had never heard off them, he called his manager to assist, who also had no idea what I was talking about! We...

Its for a rat bike, so any colour would work for me, actually the more multicoloured the better, Its cups and upper nearing cover I'm after really. I...
