    An update. Its not possible to run a Shimano freehub on a Spinergy Rev X Campagnolo wheel. The pawl system is different. I can give photos if anyone wants them. Bugger.

    A couple of tech questions to give me an idea for proper frame fit. When you have an extended seat tube i.e. What is the benefit of this and how far out of the tube should the seat post be ideally (obviously this we be determined by the riders height)?

    Yeah.. you need a special tool to remove the Dura Ace freehub. Will a 9 speed freehub work with an 8 speed cassette?

    alright, i'm gonna go with this option. Question: I have a duraace 8 speed hub but I'd quite like to keep it intact. Is there any difference in performance with the freehub from a dura ace from from that of say.. ultegra or 105 8 speed? thanks for all your help.
