yeah you keep it on whilst riding... supposedly cleans the grass from the rear cassette as its a "or nearest offer" its up to you - you change the colour depending on the weather etc possible 2 for the price of one... :);)

a quick correction just checked and its a 22.2mm the same as the end diameter of a standard mtb handlebar

hi dude its a 1-1/8 but with a 22.5mm bar clamp .. I used to use the Answer mtb bars with the gold spacer (25.4) so they would be the 22,4 or 22.5 ... You could possible have the stem bored out to match a possible 25.4 bar... the stem was used on my Mountain Cycle Shockwave..
