Help with removing Yo Eddy ‘91 press fit BB

My comment in regards to the bb was for installation of the bb. I have replaced my bearings 3 to 4 times over the years. It is not that difficult but I guess it depends on your technical abilities. In terms of repacking the cartridge bearing, I would not bother and just buy a new set. The...

Help with removing Yo Eddy ‘91 press fit BB

I saw that listing on E bay. Made me smile because it was the same as mine. Dr D's comments on the decals are so true. I would not touch the frame. Ride it, laugh with it, and just marvel what a great package the frame and fork are. When I got mine in 91 I scratched off the Chris Chance sticker...

    1991 Merlin Titanium

Beautiful bike, love the polished crank. I just acquired a 96 Extralight, very impressive ride. Those two gti's in the back are sweet. We dont see many of the MK1's anymore, the Canadian climate just consumes old cars.

The Late, Great Bontrager Race Lite

The problem with that is Chris Inglehart has retired. I read he sold all his equipment to Breadwinner.

Fat Chance Yo Eddy - 1990 MBUK Summer Special super bike tribute

Agreed the spec was probably from Veltec, perhaps Fat City and American used the same rep to sell their wares to distributors. I picked up the bike from Veltec, the stem and post were in a bag attached to the frame. In terms of building the way you liked, that was not my experience, quite often...

Fat Chance Yo Eddy - 1990 MBUK Summer Special super bike tribute

The Canadian distributor for Fat Chance was Veltec. My 91 Yo Eddy came with an American Bicycle stem, a TCO seatpost and Xt or Xc pro groupo. The stem was polished.

Brodie Sovereign - beautiful but $$$$

The Brodie is really nice. He also has an amazing Wicked Fat Chance in Kandy Wild Cherry for sale. I bought a stem off him last year, with no issues at all.

1993 Fat Chance Yo Eddy Team Aquafade

Let the puppies cry! The Yo Eddy rides best with 1.9 Panaracer Smoke front and rear ( preferably foldable blackwall ) The bike is unstoppable with that tire combination. I would love a set of Ritchey Red WCS 26 x 1.7 Tyres for my Yo eddy.
