Re: I did end up finding the rims new in Germany. A friend of mine has taken over the fab of the wheels but was having trouble finding the spokes that came stock on the 92 specialized M2 sworks. Any chance you have specific information on this bike? Thanks.

Re: Yes, it will work with a 7 spd shimano cassette, but in friction only.

Does any one have some NOS or excellent condition TXL-21's that they are willing to part with? Thanks!
