ok so this leads back to my original question of value? if its an sts or an lts ?? what is it worth and where do i go to find out? i thought i was posting to the appraisal thread but maybe im in the wrong spot? i do however appreciate the information because i certainly cant seem to get it...

Just acquired this and I believe it is a 97 GT LTS but am not 100% certain. I am wondering about it's value as I am interested in trading for an every day rider- road style mtb that can handle my 6'1" 280lb frame or just sell outright and purchase something more to my needs. Hopefully the pics...
