Went with the Campagnolo nuovo record gearing in the end. Just had to get the dremel out and make so modifications to the shifter. Drilled a small hole and jb welded a small pin on the inside to act as a stopping pin. Just need tp get myself some new wheels to finish it off now

I love the look of the dura ace. But would prefer the 1st gen front derailleur with the holes on the outer plate. I can see this becoming an expensive hobby 😂

I've just got my hands on an 82 Batavus professional that I'm about to build with parts from another bike. I have some Campagnolo Nuovo record shifters and both front and rear dérailleurs. I was pleased to see some other builds with the same but didn't realise my frame has the older shimano type...
