Adding to that here was my collection of shiny bare-metal MTBs from a few years ago. Just the Marin and Kona above left now as we can't keep them all forever I guess.
Yes, I've had a few Ti MTBs over the years but kept my favourite two: the above. plus this Marin with a highly polished Ti frameset with Chrome PaceRC30 (Columbus leg) mk2 forks, XTR headset, all of which which looks and rides great in real life too. Syncros Ti seat post and just a nice period...
A few years ago I bought this interesting old HeiHei (was imported for a well known UK MTB journo, and used to appear a lot in the mags.) and is a real survivor showing how good these early ti. bikes were, not a mark today still.

I am sure someone that had one would love it. My mate is specifically after an Explorer as its a nostalgia thing for him after having one for a decade and regretting parting with it. I've told him if I can find a tatty one in his size I will restore it for him to re-live his teenage years...
F&F (with Mavic BB, 105 headset, XT Ubrake) £495 delivered
or completely bare F&F £465 delivered
Final reduction as its worth that for me to hang it on the wall in my workshop in Wales - these Overbury's are timeless and very hard to find a good one that doesn't need a refurb in original paint.
PX options - also looking for SINGLE ball hitch cycle carrier and Farm Quad or ATV road legal or not with cash your way, old motorcycles etc.
Let me know what you have
My lovely 19" (C-T) 1989 Pioneer is up for sale £650 collected from Kent (or £675 posted nationwide) - F&F only from £465 delivered
Incredible survivor, as far as I know still in original paint, and is particularly outstanding in virtually un-marked condition.
With a great period groupset all...
I'm also looking for and Explorer in 21" or 23" for a friend if anyone spots one up for sale in any condition nationwide., let me know. thanks
(needs to be a 1988 though, as the earlier bikes had frame lugs and were much heavier and the '88 was quite a development over the earlier bikes at the...
F&F or complete project or finished restoration.
There must be one out there somewhere. I have the 19" but a good friend had the 23" back in the day and is looking for another as a retro project in future.
I wouldn't mind a 21" myself - as I always fancied having a go at a Trailblazer project...
