after a futile hunt for several years, I realised I was never going to find a vintage Ritchey rigid MTB in the UK , despite seeing some ridiculously tiny and laughably humongous + very rough examples kicking about from time to time, nothing with any scope for a restoration ever came up except unattainable stateside examples... after some inspiration from other RB
forum members I decide to build my own instead.
first source a frame - had to be Ritchey Logic variety of Tange Prestige and with scope to take a quill stem and '90s groupset including the all important compact Ritchey dropouts that I already had on a couple of previous Tange Prestige framesets - target under 4lb for the frame.
nicely TIG welded and not bulk factory made - though quite who and where in Taiwan has not been possible to ascertain
some nice original logic forks acquired from the bay..
plus some nice bits I have been hoarding, so far so good, now off to get the frame and forks stripped, blasted and painted...
