Early Bontrager Race Lite

Question, likely want to go to a rigid fork. I doubt given the age of the frame that it would be suspension corrected so I’m wondering what the ideal A-C length of fork I would need. Also would prefer to use a straight blade fork and the Tange Switchblade is the direction I’m considering because of the Bontrager connection, are there any other option that I should consider? P2 and Tange Big Fork are a couple that come to mind.
I eventually want to get a dirt drop stem such as a Salsa P10 with Nitto RM3 drop bars. I want this bike to be a solid computer that will also handle trail riding. There is a Ritchey Venture drop bar for sale nearby that would be an option but feel to modern for my usual builds. If I got those I feel I would be pushed towards a more modern drive train.
I’m unsure which direction to go, a 1x drive train is simple and likely all I would ever need. Kinda stuck right now.
As for tires my thoughts we using the Ultradynamico Mars in grey but Panaracers in green would also be a fun option as the green black and purple look good together.
Open to any input as I’m just putting my ideas out there.

A rule of thumb I use, approx:
410mm for 51mm - 63mm travel.
420mm for 63mm - 80mm travel.
440mm for 80mm - 100mm travel.

The thing with bontragers is that they are designed around a fork with lower rake then normal, 1.25” (31,7mm) - it might be hard to find one if it’s not a bonty, most rigid mtb forks have a rake around 45mm

@keith_bontrager do you have the spec on the rigid privateer forks? Do thy also have the lower rake?

But the race/race lite came in a suspension and a non suspension version right - So to replace a suspension fork you would need a bit more?

Or is it just the head tube angle?
