Decent 26" rigid forks?

I assume so......dont know tbh.

But i assume they must have to allow you to load the bearings on an ahead set up somehow.....so that would make sense.

Further assume it doesn't effect me as im keeping the threaded headset in place. So extender goes in.....tightens up like a normal quill ( having removed the right number of spacers to make it the right height)........ then pop on the ahead stem......

Its just if a syncros sigle bolt wil be able to crush the rings down as its not an "all round" clamp like a classic 2 bolt.......if not im then looking for a new stem too😂

Actually.....in answer to you question....yes.....theres a star nut equivalent in it apparently.

Its not my chosen weapon ad thats a lot more " joints"

Coolio but I get where you are coming from, I'd rather not if I can. I think even my magura mount forks are to short in the steerer for you.

maybe this guy could provide you with a fork?

The other option is bespoke, but seems extreme and extremely expensive! Ive met him btw, nice chap, interesting bikes if your doing world travel kinda thing. Based in a little village i know very very well!

Wow....just wow! They should about double the bikes weight! 🤣

And im sure they give a great compliant ride!

Actually ive got some old skool steel scaff poles and and a arc welder!

So in answer to my own question.....NO. .....nobody makes a good quality 26" unicrown mountain bike fork any longer.....

And why would they, when the industry now puts 26" as children's bikes or for those under 5'5". Which is also a bit sexist, as it assumes a shorter woman won't be a good rider and therefore won't need a decent bike!
