....depends what wine and where you buy it from. But yeah. These type of bikes can be had for next to nothing.

Pugs and Motobecanes are common as muck. Most people who find these in the attic have no idea, sometimes top draw stuff get's priced like mass produced stuff.

By correcting I meant the correct front mech, the bike is lovely.

Who knows, perhaps I could help you out. I was at the charity store at the end of last year and saw three vintage bikes like this, well obscure stuff. interesting stuff. I had first pickings, a little queue of 4 polite bods formed behind me and watched me dilly dally pussyfoot around iffying and arrrhing. I bailed out realising my house renovation will never happen if I add to the collection. Sure enough, they were gone 5 mins later.

What I will say, if you are into this kind of thing, it's got to be something so obscure and so well made to be worth it. The only reason the Dion Bouton hasn't gone to the tip is because of the engineering and it's a revered significant fundamental part of French transport history.

I'll keep you in mind if I stumble across something local.
