Alpinestar Cro Mega

Hi,

I've now got my dream frame coming my way so am shifting out the project that started my retrobike visit:

Alpinestar cro mega frame, forks. 1991. It's I believe, a 19" frame. Will measuer it tomorrow to double check. Never built up by me as I was collecting bits so don't actually know

Also have some parts that I was going to use which i will chuck in:

New decals from Gil_m (cost £26),
NOS boxed XT headset,
Zoom seatpost, NOS and only taken out of the box to fit.
Have the original stem which I started polishing, scratched but useable alpinestar bar and alpinestar bottle holder.
XT front mech
New seatcollar

So, all you need is drivetrain and wheels and you have a lovely bit of retrobike history

The frame has chips as per pictures, the seatpost was originally stuck in it when I got the bike last year but I have cleaned out the seattube and its all fine now. Fitted the new seatpost and it fits nicely.

I'm not looking to make big money from this so would like £60. I know I would make more seperately but would prefer to sell as a whole as it is a good project for someone. The decals and headset cost me this much so think it's a fair price.

At the moment I can't really get to the post office as work is mental so would like to drop it off/meet you in East Devon. Exeter, Taunton, Tiverton anywhere really.

Looks tempting but probably too small for me.

My friend's gf lives in Taunton so I could get it up to Yorkshire for free and send it on if this would help anyone?

Great price, especially with all those parts. Should make a nice project for somebody.
