a little while ago i contacted peterbourgh plating and asked i could get a bike frame nickle plated, from memory it was do able and would cost £75.

mite be worth another ask?

anyone got anything to add to this old thread? i got a 95 p7 and i'm enjoying riding it so much whilst my other build is in progress that i'm looking to preserve it for the future. is the p7 nickel plated or chrome plated? and can it be re done for a sensible price?

P7 is nickel - and I believe the price is currently in orbit

I've not used them yet, but they seem pretty well thought of in the old motorbike world (and those guys are as picky as we are...

I wonder if many nickel frames have been blasted then powder coated due to the high nickel replacing cost
