My 26" MTB by Grandis

Hi, I am trying to convert my Grandis MTB to an urban style. I have a problem with the fork (it is completely out of use, it does not return after it is pressed down) so I am looking for a rigid 1 inch threadless fork, with an a-c length of 425. It seems so difficult to find one! ...

Any suggestions?

:D

Any idea about the value of my bike. It is completely LX Deore, without any problems. Rims Mavic. Grandis frame with columbus tubes.

1st time I see this frame, but it looks very interesting. Grandis makes nice bikes as we know from the Road section. Interesting fork too. Pity it doesn't work anymore. Have you tried to resurect it?

No I didn't, but I'll do. For the moment I am using a rigid one. Grandis told me that the brand is TRE 3G (they closed).

The frame was done following the request of a guy who wanted a hybrid between road tubes, and MTB... but at the end he decided to not buy it. I would like to know from an expert the possible value of it!

I would like to sell it (if the value is good) to re-build another Grandis (road frame from the 1984) tat I have in Italy

Teddy,

For valuations we have a specific topic. I do not know what your bike is worth, but I could imagine it represents quite some value. It looks nicely made and for the select audience that is also interested in roadbikes this could be an interesting gem. Hence I recommend to also advertise it in the road section in case you decide to sell.

Pace rc30 from 96/97 have around 420mm according to goat surfer.. You can then source any steerer you want for them.
