I thought that because of the seat and carrera made these style early 90s.Are those deore thumbies on it ??

Is that a wishbone seatstay? Modern cassette, 80s chainset, far from original whatever it is.

Doesn't look like this low-end Carrera but I have seen another with straight stays: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/mountain-bike-26-Hand-Built-/170871783140

if it was closer to me i would have a gamble on it (hey its only 32.00).Looks like it may have a few good bits on it.

Having had far-too-intimate contact with many Carreras from this era ; I can say with some amount of confidence that's a Mk.2 Catalyst ; Mk.1's did indeed have curved stays which I always thought were unused fork tubes.
