Middleburn Crank Identification

Retro Newbie
Hello,

Been lurking for a while but this is my first post. Ive been having a bit of a garage clearout and come across some cranks which i cant seem to identify.

The arm shape is that of a RS2 but the spider system bolts on like an RS1, also no engraving on the arms either...

Can anyone shed some light?

I need to make one post before adding pics it seems so they will follow on below.

Interesting.

It's not and RS2, 3 or 4, as they are listed as having 4 x fixing screws. Also the RS3 does not have straight cranks.

I don't have any info on RS5 and 6, so possibly one of those?

Isn't it amazing what people have tucked away.

I've a set of RS1 and RS2, and as you've pointed out, they seem to be a cross over model?

As they've no engraving on them, perhaps they were a prototype for the new arms?

:?:

Yep, I've got. Set of these. They were the RS2's that Goldtech used to sell with their chainrings.
The bolt fixings on the back were altered at some point during production though, as they differ from my other 2 sets.
