Well, as life would have it, a curve ball was thrown to me by way of a blown transmission.
So, knowing that I probably would never build this frame up I have decided to let this go as I know it will cover the cost of getting my truck fixed.
This is a 1996 Klein Adroit/Attitude Nightstorm color scheme by the one and only “NUKE”.
This frameset was owned by an ex Klein employee and is probably the only one of its kind due to the fact it is fitted with a prototype bottom bracket. It is a BB made to match up with a Shimano M952 XTR Crankset. (A NOS XTR crankset is included) The semi-pressed in BB is something that no bike mechanic in the Seattle area has seen and even when photos were sent to Trek and a couple of ex Klein employees no info came forth. So, with the frame the way it is, the NOS XTR crankset that comes with it is the only crank that will work.
The frame has never been built as well as the Strata fork. They are NOS! But, the frame does have some small scratches due to storage and on the back brake post some paint has flaked off.(SEE PHOTO) The MC2 has had shifters on them and taken off so there is a little scuffing and small scratches but I will include a set of NOS Klein grips with the Frameset. I am also including a NOS M952 XTR rear derailleur. If I can find it I will also include a rare Klein Rear V-Brake adapter.
There are no cable guides, water bottle bolts or BB cable guide included.
I am including: NOS XTR Crankset, NOS XTR RD, NOS Tune Seatpost clamp, NOS Klein Grips and maybe Klein V Brake adapter.
