Right folks, had planned to strip & rebuild this mintier than mint, but I'm broke  and need the funds now so here we go...

Most important bits first:
Top tube (it's horizontal) centre - centre ... 23 1/4"
Seat tube centre BB - centre top tube ... 19"
Seat tube centre BB - top seat tube ... 20 1/4"

93 Specialized Rockhopper, in generally good shape, but a few decent scrapes (more than I realised as they don't show up until you're close), storage type marks I'd hazard. Decals all intact & very good nick though.

Forks have the remains of RockShox stickers, but all evidence points to Future Shocks. I reckon they're Mags though... All pumped up, holding air indefinitely & working well with damping an' everythin'!

Headset 1 1/8 threaded, nowt special but feels like it'd be fine with some fresh grease - no notchiness, just a bit sticky

Drive train (including cantis) is basically all Exage and all in very good shiny condition 8)

Wheels are both Exage hubs on Spesh' own X25 rims, look a really nice pair  Kenda Kinetics tyres look practically unused - I think the whole bike is practically unused, just been knocked around a little bit in storage :x

Bars, stem and (scruffy) post are all generic black to match the frame, ATI ribbed grips, silver bar-ends, Body-fit saddle. Pedals not included (unless you ask really nicely).

To be honest the pics will tell you much more - hopefully the link at the bottom will get you to a bunch of them, apologies for not sorting them out a bit better (turning them round, for instance ) but it's just been hectic round here of late.

Think I've managed to make that sound much worse than it is!

The bike's right in the centre of Manchester if you'd like to take a look/ride it/collect it. I'm in the Midlands regularly, Llandegla for 10/10/10 and hoping to be in Glentress for MacRetro's shindig 8)

Looking for something in the region of £150, as always offers bribes & swaps are welcomed (see sig), but I really need at least some cash...!
I'd rather not post it but will do for £15 & a nice word! :)
*check my latest post for the current, ever-dropping price!*

Any questions or extra info please ask away! 8)

C'mon folks, it's practically a time-capsule bike!

Get your cheeky offers in before I start with the price drops - you never know what mood you might catch me in (I'll give you a clue: broke with a very naughty new frame on it's way)...

Clearly this lovely machine needs to be cheaper...

Can I tempt your discerning pallets at just £130 (+£15p&p if required)?!

A lovely original bike, and at that price it's tempting, wish it was 18" tho :(

Pleased to hear it's tempting!

At 5'9ish with monkey-arms I can ride it happily as a commuter/tourer (I find it a nice length ), but for any serious off-road you'd really want to be 6'plus for obvious reasons  - us shorties need not apply :(

Oh dear, it's getting interest from buck-toothed inbreds on gumtree, "what size is it" (the very first thing written on the ad) and "what size wheels does it have"

Please someone give it a proper home, where it will be appreciated & looked after

It's much cheaper on here too!

Just £120 today! :D

damn... if i only had the funds!! (unfortunatly just spent all my cash on a new modern build)

I had one of these as my first proper MTB, original 93 rrp was £699 - same size as well!

Its a 93 Specialized Rockhopper FS, the forks aren't mag 10's they are Specialized own future shocks (just bottom of the line ones). The adapter you need for the top of the fork is a 'standard' football style one iirc, they work at a pretty low psi, but work very well for the year.

Have an adapter now, thanks for the info, just can't find my pump...

I'll check on the forks, I assumed they'd been changed but it sounds like I may be mistaken, so what's new!

PM me a nostalgic offer if you like
